Pro photographer Dilip Bhoye has worked in the fields of advertising and fine arts for over ten years. A graduate of Sir JJ Institute of Applied Art with a major in advertising photography, Dilip graduated in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts.
After graduation, Dilip found full-time work as the art director and in-house commercial photographer for an international diamond and jewelry company. Over the next two years, he worked alongside an American photographer who showed him the ins-and-outs of becoming a Photoshop artist. It was during this time that Dilip started using a Nikon D1x digital camera, shooting everything from macro to high fashion photography.
In 2003, Dilip broadened his photography skills by shooting positive films and digital backs. He worked as a freelance photographer for several companies in Mumbai. Dilip continued developing his skills in product photography and Photoshop by creating a variety of advertising projects that included catalogs and flyers. He worked directly with clients to create advertisements for jewelry design shows such as the Basel Jewelry Show.
In 2005, Dilip met his wife and he moved to Taiwan, where he works as a photographer and graphic designer. He has lived in Taipei ever since. These days, Dilip works as a commercial photographer, shooting everything from travel, editorial, events, tabletop, stock, conceptual, and portraiture photography in Taiwan.
